Super Bowl LVIII is almost here, as the San Francisco 49ers face the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of Super Bowl LIV. While we still have our fantasy postseason leagues at stake, there’s going to be a ton of wagering on the big game including player props. With that in mind, I did some research on the stats and trends that you need to know about some of the biggest names and the most popular props that will be played. That includes the tight ends, Travis Kelce and George Kittle. Here’s some info you’ll need to know before placing your own bets!

Kelce has posted at least seven catches in seven of his 18 games (39%), but he’s hit that mark in two of his three postseason contests. In the 10 games where he has played in 50 or more snaps, Kelce has had seven-plus catches just four times.
The 49ers have allowed seven or more receptions to opposing tight ends just twice. That seems like a tall task for Kelce to reach, but maybe it’s not so tall. Kelce has averaged 8.2 targets per game. The Niners faced just three tight ends who had eight or more targets, and those tight ends combined for 27 receptions.
Kelce has recorded 71 or more receiving yards eight times in his 18 games (44%). He has hit that mark in each of his last three games, however, during which time he has averaged 87.3 yards. Kelce averaged just 65.6 yards in his previous 15 games.
The 49ers have allowed tight ends to beat them for 71 or more yards three times, and just two have had more than 56 yards against them since Week 8. Among the four tight ends who had at least eight targets, however, three of them (Trey McBride, T.J. Hockenson, Sam LaPorta) finished with at least 86 receiving yards.

Kelce scored a touchdown in seven of his 18 games (39%) on the season, but he has scored at least one touchdown in two of his three postseason contests.
The 49ers defense allowed a meager four touchdown catches to opposing tight ends in their 18 games. None of the four tight ends who have seen eight or more targets against them this season have also found the end zone in that game.
