Sheffield Wednesday fans on Twitter are split on the signing of Achraf Lazaar after an article published by Football Insider last month became a point of discussion once again.
The report states that the full-back would cost the Owls £2 million if they wanted to sign him from Newcastle United, and supporters aren’t sure if that’s a good deal or not.
On the one hand Lazaar has looked like a competent Championship player since joining the Yorkshire club, but he hasn’t been able to play too much due to injuries.
He has played just four games for the club since joining them on loan last season which is obviously a cause for concern, but certain sections of the fanbase believe he would turn out to be a good addition if Steve Bruce chose to move for him.
It remains to be seen whether or not the Steel City outfit will make a move for the Moroccan, but if they do it will be a polarising signing.
