Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini believes it is only natural that star striker and captain Carlos Tevez feels homesick.
The Argentina ace has hit the back pages in recent days with fellow front man Roque Santa Cruz suggesting he is ready to quit the Eastlands-based outfit in order to move closer to his homeland.
Tevez will miss this weekend's Premier League clash at Wolverhampton Wanderers with a thigh problem and he was granted permission to travel back to South America to resolve a family issue.
However, the Italian tactician is confident the 26-year-old former Manchester United and West Ham United ace will remain at the club for the foreseeable future.
"He never talks to me about this, but I think it is normal," Mancini said to reporters when asked about Tevez's problems.
"When you are in another country for a long time, it is normal that sometimes you need your country or your family.
"But he has his job here and it is a fantastic job. I don't think we have a problem."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
