Philippe Clement has been under immense pressure of late – but the 3-1 defeat of Hearts at Tynecastle certainly brought a light to the end of the long dark tunnel that has enveloped Ibrox this week as the ‘Gers Manager reflected on Sunday’s game in Edinburgh.
“The team showed the right mentality today. We scored at the right times. However there were moments in the game when we could have made better decisions.

“The result is always more important than the performance – and that is true for every club. I’m focused on the team all the time – I just want to win every game.”
There was praise for Ibrox youngsters Clinton Nsiala and Hamza Igamane.
“Clinton is developing and learning quicker than I anticipated. He’s finely balanced and calm – although sometimes players can be too calm.
“Hamza may not have scored in the last six games – but he’s working hard for the team.”
