For many QPR fans, the celebrations following Sunday’s 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday will have been more because of relief that the season is over rather than the final day win itself; the 2018/19 campaign has been a woeful one for the R’s and most at Loftus Road will surely want to brush it under the carpet now.

The Stoke man’s spell at W12 has been hampered with injury setbacks and, as a result, he has made just 18 league appearances for the Hoops, scoring one goal and recording one assist.
