Albert Adomah can seemingly do no wrong at Aston Villa at the moment as he put in another goalscoring display on Saturday afternoon.
The winger netted a brace in a 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Villa Park, which put Steve Bruce’s side two points within the automatic qualification spots.
The 29-year-old has now scored 11 goals in 17 games in all competitions so far this season.
In fact, five of those have found the back of the net in the winger’s last three appearances for the Midlands outfit.
Not only that, but 10 of Adomah’s shots on target in the second tier have ended in goals.
Understandably, Villa fans were quick to hail the Ghana international for his heroics against Ipswich.
Steve Bruce’s side have now won their last three games on the trot and are well positioned for a serious promotion challenge – something that they failed to maintain in the 2016-17 campaign.
Next up for the Villans is a trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United next Friday.
